When W.H. Auden traveled to Iceland, he stumbled across the word 'foss,' which means 'waterfall.'
However, this word is most commonly used in association with the word 'bicycle' since for some reason, when the natives first encountered the bicycle, they could think of nothing to compare it to sufficiently except for a waterfall.
